CALL FOR PAPERS
IJOLTL invites original manuscripts in the fields of language, language teaching, linguistics, and applied linguistics. Although articles are written in English, the IJOLTL welcomes studies dealing with the teaching of languages other than English as well. Research on culture of various perspectives as well as linguistics is also welcome. In addition, IJOLTL also considers papers in the areas of applied linguistics, language testing, pragmatic, sociolinguistics and discourse analysis. Reviews of literature are also acceptable for the IJOLTL. The length of paper should be between 3,500 to 8,000 words as defined in the author’s guidelines. A wide range of topics in the area of education and teaching in primary school, secondary school and higher educations is covered, including but not limited to:
- Language and linguistics
- Language teaching
- Language curriculum and pedagogy
- Language assessment and evaluation
- Language teaching methodology
- Language teaching materials and development
- Language instructional designs
- Literature, culture, and translation studies
- Studies in pragmatics, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics and sociolinguistics
Papers submitted must be written in English in the length of 4,000 to 8,000 words including references for the original paper and between 3,500 to 5,000 words excluding references for the review paper. The paper must not have been published or being considered for publication elsewhere, except circulated as conference presentations, nor should they be submitted simultaneously to another journal. IJOTL-TL can exceptionally accept shorter or longer manuscripts, provided that the scientific content is of high value.

To hold publication core values and adherence to accepted publication ethics, IJOTL-TL employs the double-blinded peer-review process for all articles.
