IJOTL-TL (Indonesian Journal of Language Teaching and Linguistics) published quarterly in January, May, and September. We invite original Research papers and Theoretical reviews or Conceptual Reviews with a wide range of topics in the area of education and teaching in primary school, secondary school, and higher educations is covered, including but not limited to:
- Language and linguistics
- Language teaching
- Language curriculum and pedagogy
- Language assessment and evaluation
- Language teaching methodology
- Language teaching materials and development
- Language instructional designs
- Literature, culture, and translation studies
- Linguistics studies
- Studies in pragmatics, discourse analysis, psycholinguistics, and sociolinguistics
Although articles are written in English, the Journal welcomes studies dealing with the teaching of languages other than English as well. Research on the culture of various perspectives as well as linguistics is also welcome.
Papers submitted must be written in English in the length of 4,000 to 8,000 words including references for the original paper and between 3,500 to 5,000 words excluding references for the review paper as defined in the author’s guidelines. The paper must not have been published or being considered for publication elsewhere, except circulated as conference presentations, nor should they be submitted simultaneously to another journal. IJOTL-TL can exceptionally accept shorter or longer manuscripts, provided that the scientific content is of high value. Please ensure that your papers must be editable in the form of Microsoft word 2000/2003 (doc) or Microsoft word 2007/2010 (Docx) using Times New Roman in a 12 point font.
